The Cottage is a former farmhouse, in parts over four hundred years old, situated in the village of Carrog, seven miles west of Llangollen in the heart of the beautiful Dee Valley of North Wales.

 

We offer two en suite bedrooms, with all the little touches you would expect of a four star B&B.  Local food is used wherever possible, including eggs from our own hens and produce from the garden.  Special diets can be catered, particularly Coeliacs.   Afternoon teas, packed lunches and light snacks are available.  Evening meals can be taken in the village pub, or if the weather is suitable we offer a self cook BBQ pack for guests to enjoy in the garden.  With guest parking, drying and laundry facilities, video and book library, tourist information and maps, a steam railway and all outdoor activities available we invite guests to savour this special area of North Wales.

West bound along the A5 from Llangollen for seven miles, passing through the village of Glyndyfrdwy, until you reach Llidiart y Parc.  Turn right, signposted Carrog ……….

East bound along the A5 from Corwen for two miles, until you reach Llidiart y Parc.  Turn left, signposted Carrog ………

…….. Continue down the hill past the Steam Railway Station and over the River Dee.  Turn left, up the hill, through the village for a quarter of a mile.  The Cottage will be seen on the left, with guest parking just beyond the sign.
